With the CMA Fest airing on July 19, fans will receive an incredible performance from Yellowstone star Lainey Wilson. But she’s also made a name for herself in a way that has nothing to do with her impressive voice: her equally bold approach in Hollywood fashion.
The country singer showed off her couture skills when she walked the red carpet for the 55th annual CMA Awards in November 2021. There to present the Single of the Year award, fans couldn’t believe how awesome she looked for her star-studded moment. Ditching her signature hat for the night, she showed up wearing a black long-sleeved blazer as a top that perfectly matched her love for all things flashy and gorgeous.
Aside from the dark hue of Lainey’s garment, it stood out thanks to the unique decals placed throughout, including what appeared to be jeweled flowers and designs outlined in different colored beads. As for the blazer silhouette, it featured slim pockets and a rounded bottom hem that isn’t too traditional for the jacket style. It added a whimsical touch to an event highly revered by country music artists.
Since her jacket made quite an impression on the red carpet before the ceremony, it was only fitting that Lainey sported other bold accents as well.
To associate with the coat, the “heart like a truckThe musician wore tiger-patterned pants and a black belt buckle to tie the look together. To match the sparkly moment, she added layered diamond necklaces and cocktail rings. Additionally, she styled her blonde hair in beachy waves, with face-framing curtain bangs. To make it all cohesive, she put on bold eyeliner and mauve-colored lipstick.
When she posted the highlights of the night on Instagrampeople made sure to let Lainey know they loved seeing that look on her.
“You look absolutely fantastic,” one person wrote in the comments section. “Jump Lainey 🔥🔥,” added another. “Girl look at you rocking that red carpet 🔥🔥,” another follower added.
Needless to say, Lainey is definitely lucky enough to knock a fabulous award-winning ensemble out of the park.
