We love Kelly Clarkson for many reasons: his iconic voice, his fun fashion choicesand its tendency to keep it super real on social media. This time the old Voice coach took to Instagram to call out one of our other favorite artists, the “Watermelon Moonshine” singer (and Yellowstone star) Lainey Wilson. But there’s no drama here: it’s all love between the powerhouse singers!
Kelly released her 10th studio album, Chemistry, June 23. She promoted her new songs on social media, toured talk shows, and even surprised fans with popup performances. The “Since U Been Gone” singer offered fans an alternative if they were already sick of his new music (we never could, but when Kelly talks, we listen).
Kelly shared this post on her Instagram story, “If you need a break from listening to my new album ‘Chemistry’ then check out @laineywilsonmusic ‘wildflowers & wild horses’ & @codyjohnson ‘when it comes to you’ ❤️ you’ll love these two artists…or you’ve got one hell of a taste. 😜”
Lainey reposted Kelly’s compliment on her Instagram Story and added, “Damn. That means your sister’s world. Love you ❣️”
We love seeing this wave of support from two of our favorite singers. Now, would that be too much to ask for a duet?
