Denise Austin likes to maintain an active lifestyle, and a day at the beach is no exception for the fitness icon. In a recent post, the 66-year-old showed off her toned abs and legs while posing in a bikini after paddleboarding in the ocean.
The fitness guru smiled in the sun Instagram post. “Happy Sunday everyone!!!” Austin captioned the photo. “What are some of your favorite outdoor activities? » I LOVE everything I can do at the beach!! From paddleboarding to yoga to simply walking, moving around while enjoying the sun is my favorite way to recharge my batteries!!! I hope you are all having a great weekend!! XOXO.”
Fans flocked to the comments to shower the star with praise. One fan wrote: “❤️🔥DENISE YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS…You are an ageless beauty for sure!!!! I’ve been ‘watching’ you since 1985. Rock on. 🚣♀️😊.” Another commented, “Wow! What a body! 🔥.”
Whether it’s a paddle, a lower body workouttake a walk or do easy moves to burn fat, Austin is a physical activity pro. The best part is that she loves to share her workout routines and exercise tips with her fans via social media. Some of our favorites include workout moves for women “over 50” and one #fitover50 squat workout.
After her last shot in a bikini, the star posted a video to instagram sharing yet another workout routine and tips. The video focused on low-impact cardio moves that are gentle on the joints, such as weightless step keys and bicep curls. “I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, cardio workouts are so important no matter what your age!” she wrote in the caption. “If you have trouble with your knees or your back…I have a great cardio workout for you that’s gentle on your joints! This NEW low impact, high energy fast workout is GREAT!! »
Austin’s workouts have tons of health benefits, but we also love their accessibility. Drop a yoga mat and follow her home, or do some of her workout moves outside in the sun (just make sure to soap up in the best sunscreen for sun protection). All you really need is a pair of best running shoes, and considering Austin has gone through its fair share of workout sneakers over the years, its favorites are sure to be top notch. Check out some of the shoes she loves below.
