Calling all Claim fame Fans! On June 26, ABC’s hit reality show, hosted by Kevin and Franklin Jonahreturns to screens, and fans are already buzzing with the new cast and potential big spoilers.
As with season 1, the next season of the show will kick off with 12 new competitors, each linked to a mysterious celebrity. (ICYMI, the aim of the show is to find out who the name in bold is in everyone’s family tree.)
The Clue Wall in the Contestants’ Mansion will contain items hinting at each hidden celebrity relationship. This provides the cast and fans at home with clues to help them uncover each person’s true identity.

The good news is that two trailers and the official poster were released earlier this month, which has already led to a few guesses from users on Reddit and Instagram (more on that in a second).

How does the show work?
Twelve contestants share clues that hint at their famous relative. The only catch is that some of these “clues” are In fact lies to shake up other players. The overall goal is to be the last one to successfully hide your relative’s identity, keeping it secret without being discovered by the other competitors.
During the show, the competitors Complete a series of challenges each week. The winner of each challenge will be exempt from being identified, and the bottom two will have to wait while the house determines who will be selected as the “guesser”. The guesser then selects another member of the house and tries to guess their famous relative.
If they are right, the person matched with their famous relative will be sent home. But if they are wrong, the diviner’s celebrity connection will be revealed and they will be sent home instead. The winner will receive a prize of $100,000.
Who will be in season 2 of Claim fame?
A big part of the show is that many contestants hide their identities by coming up with new names. So naturally, ABC has yet to release the cast names for Season 2. However, the show’s official Instagram account has shared the official poster, where you can see the entire cast.

What do the trailers reveal?
So far, two trailers have been shared online. THE first shows competitors taking on a series of challenges. You may hear one candidate say someone was “really good at lying,” and another add, “You can’t trust anyone here.” It also hints at some tension in the house and some major drama following an elimination.

The second trailer, shared by Twitter, revealed a bit more about possible celebrity connections. “I lie about everything,” said a contestant. “I think he’s related to Janet Jackson,” another chimed in. More A-lister names like Gal GadotHarrison Ford and Anne Hathaway have also been mooted as possible connections, but these cannot be confirmed until the start of the season.
Who has been guessed so far?
So far, no one. Since the show has yet to air, it’s unclear which parents the contestants guessed correctly. However, some fans on Reddit seem to have connected the dots before the premiere. Here’s what they think they’ve found in the poster so far:
- The man second from right of Kevin Jonas on the poster is Alicia Key’s brother, Cole Cook.
- The third man from the back on the left side of the poster is Donny Osmond’s son.
- The man directly to the left of Franklin Jonas is Nick Cannon’s brother Gabriel Canon.
- The woman on the far left is JB Smoove’s daughter, Jerrica Brooks
- Second to last from left (in yellow top) is one of Eddie Murphy’s daughters, and fans believe it to be Shayne Audra Murphy.
Who else are fans guessing?
Fans have quite a few theories about the casting. For starters, some people think the red-haired woman on the far right is related to Jenny McCarthy. Others think the blond woman in blue (two points to the left of Franklin) is linked to Selena Gomez.

Who won ‘Claim fame’ season 1?
LC (also known as Loreal Palmer), won all season, and she was later revealed to be Keke Palmeris the older sister.
There has been speculation about LC’s identity all season, and Reddit users thought the edit cuts hinted at his victory.
“It could come out of nowhere, and I don’t know if anyone would care, but I’m a big Survivor fan, and I really like the change analysis,” wrote one user, according to Newsweek. “Just discovered the show today, and just watched all five episodes in a row. I think LC gets a winning edit, and Logan is the fallen angel (a really good player who the winner has to defeat) .”
There’s also the fact that LC was the only person to stick to his strategy. “From what we’ve seen, LC is the only one who has actively tried to make her famous relative look like someone else, which works,” another user wrote, per Newsweek.
LC’s famous relative (and her claim to fame), Keke Palmer, also shared her feelings about her sister’s progress on the show. “I live for her to be on Claim fame, I mean she gives it her all. I’m so proud of her,” Keke said. HEY. “You know, everyone in my family is a real character, and obviously it’s my older sister, so a lot of what you see and know like Me, I received from her. So I’m very excited.”
After Jasmine, aka Kai, was eliminated, she said she wanted LC to win it all. “LC is my daughter. She is everything and has all the tools to win this game. So of course I want her to win everything and I support her,” she said. Newsweek. “It was a real joy to have met her and played this crazy game with her.”

In Part II of the Finals, the eliminated contestants were brought home, either to stir the pot or just hang out. The final challenge was a game of truth or dare, which LC won, qualifying for the final two and picking the guesser of the night. She chose Logan, who guessed that Dean Martin was Pepper’s grandfather, and since he was right, that left LC and Logan in the bottom two, per Distract. Then LC picked herself to be the final riddle, guessing that Logan’s parent was Jason Aldean…which was correct, making her the winner of the $100,000 jackpot.
Since the show ended, the contestants have remained very close and talk often, LC said. PEOPLE.
