Martha Stewart has had fans losing her during her recent Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover up at 81. The star showed off her radiant complexion in all the photos, which makes us wonder what’s behind her head-to-toe glow. Fortunately, her makeup artist recently revealed that she uses L’Oréal Paris Beach Bae Luminous Liquid Face and Body to give Stewart that sunny look.
Daisy Toye, Stewart’s makeup artist, revealed the L’Oreal choice was one of the key products used in the historic photo shoot (Stewart is the oldest Sports Illustrated cover star at 81). “On her body, I used L’Oréal Paris Beach Bae Face and Body Liquid Luminizer,” she shared with People. “It’s amazing. Everyone on set was going crazy about it.
With a lightweight formula that blends easily into skin, the premier liquid highlighter delivers a sheer bronze color and is filled with reflective liquid pearls, leaving skin with an instant glow. Plus, the formula is hydrating with ingredients like glycerin and jojoba esters that help skin retain moisture. It’s designed to be used on both the face and body, and you can even apply it over your foundation for an instant bronzed look, depending on the brand.
But it’s not just Stewart who loves the product — tons of reviewers rave about it, too, calling it “a summer glow in a bottle.” A Walmart shopper writes, “I used the Luminizer every day after a shower. It made my skin feel silky and smooth, and my skin glowed like I had been in the sun for days. It’s amazing.”
Reviewers especially love that it hydrates without being sticky or greasy. “What I like the most about this (liquid highlighter) is that it doesn’t feel sticky and thick like almost all the others I’ve tried,” says another shopper. “It feels lightweight and absolutely gorgeous on the skin. I love the way it looks when I have a tan. It gives a nice glow without looking too much or looking like glitter.
If Stewart’s glowing skin in her Sports Illustrated photoshoot is an indication of the Luminizer working well, we certainly can’t wait to get our hands on the product.
