Sharon Stone is a force to be reckoned with. The 65-year-old actress always looks flawless, whether she’s posing topless or show it abs in string bikini on instagram. And like the style icon that she is, Stone likes to let in her fans or her favorite tips, tricks and beauty products from time to time. Recently, the actress revealed her favorite shampoo and conditioner: The Shampoo And The conditioner by Augustin Bader.
While everything changed for Stone when she suffered a stroke in 2001, she continues to be open about how she overcame the challenge. In a recent interview with Byrdie, Stone discussed everything from the event that changed her life to her super simple beauty and skincare routine. “I’ve always been very, very simple,” she said of her routine. “I’ve always believed that the KISS (keep it simple, stupid) principle is fundamentally real. I believe in it for everything.”
Given Stone’s philosophy that less is more, we know that what she do the use must be worthwhile. Luckily, she shared her favorite shampoo and conditioner combo that she says contributed to the hair loss she faced after her stroke.
“I started using this Augustinus Bader shampoo and conditioner and conditioner leave-in conditioner…all the hair I had lost here on the sides after the stroke has grown back,” she said in the interview. “And I have hair!” (Note: Although the side effects of strokes are vast, there is currently no evidence to suggest that hair loss is one of them.)
The shampoo and conditioner claim to reduce hair loss and “support natural hair growth” while keeping hair hydrated. The brand states that both products are suitable for all hair types and textures.
More and more buyers like the products. The Shampoo “brought my hair back to its normal texture!” wrote a five-star review on Sephora. “My hair used to be brittle and damaged, but now it’s healthier and thicker!” Another five-star Sephora reviewer wrote that The Conditioner “completely stops wasting,” adding, “I’ve never seen such a noticeable difference from a conditioner before.”
Stone has always been open about her ideas about beauty. Although she likes to keep things simple in her routine, she also seems to enjoy being exactly where she is now. “This idea that being young is the only thing beautiful or attractive just isn’t true. I don’t want to be an ‘ageless beauty,'” Stone previously said. “I want to be the best woman I can be at my age.”
