The Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) and UnTours Foundation are proud to announce the Adventure Innovation Challenge taking place live on the main stage this year Global Adventure Travel Summit. This pitch competition will feature three cutting-edge, high-impact tourism businesses competing for total cash prizes of $7,500 and the investment opportunity of the UnTours Foundation Tourism Reset Fund up to $50,000.
All finalists will be fully funded to attend this year’s Summit and will receive free registration. If you are a high impact tourism business and would like to apply, please submit an application here.
The Reset Tourism Fund was created to identify high-impact entrepreneurs and businesses and provide them with the funding they need to grow and thrive. The fund offers different types of investment, including low-interest loans, revenue-based financing, and equity investments. Funding partners include Expedia Group and Tui Care Foundation.
We are currently accepting applications from companies at the forefront of building a more sustainable and community-building travel industry – integrating climate resilience and sustainability into their operations, serving as pillars for their local communities, creating high-quality jobs, advancing racial and gender equity, and providing meaningful travel experiences for all travelers, especially those who have been historically underserved by the industry.
Businesses across the tourism value chain are invited to applyincluding:
- Hotels, bed and breakfasts and/or other accommodations
- Tour guides, hosts or animators
- Restaurants or catering where tourists are a primary customer
- Museum, activity and other event space that caters to tourists
- Tourist transport
- B2B companies serving companies in the tourism sector
