Travel is indeed back to normal!
After nearly three years of managing the effects of the pandemic, Cebu Pacific is set to fully restore flights to all of its pre-COVID international destinations by March 2023. And to celebrate this milestone, the country’s leading airline launches another SEAT SALE on January 27th.
This was the big announcement from the CEB during its January 25 press event. To date, 100% of domestic flights and 92% of international flights of the low-cost company have been restored. Before the pandemic, the airline flies to 25 international destinations in 14 countries.
Cebu Pacific will resume flights to the following destinations:
- Manila to Macau – 3x per week in March
- Manila to Melbourne – 3 times a week before March 26
- Manila to Shanghai – 1 time per week before January 19
- Manila to Xiamen – 1 time per week in February
- Manila to Shenzhen – 1 time per week before January 29
The frequency of flights to these destinations will increase:
- Manila to Sydney – 4x per week to 5x per week in March
- Manila to Bangkok – from 14x per week to 18x per week in March
- Manila to Guangzhou – 1x weekly to 2x weekly by January
- Manila to Brunei – from 2x per week to 4x per week in March
Cebu Pacific will also continue to offer promotional fares in 2023 to encourage more travelers to fly. “We are delighted to welcome more passengers on board, especially now that we have returned to easier times,” said Candice Iyog, director of marketing and customer experience for Cebu Pacific. “We are proud to announce that Cebu Pacific has emerged stronger after nearly three years of the pandemic and we are ready to provide our customers with a better flight experience. And so we confidently say – ‘Let’s Fly Every Juan!’
Xander Lao, president and chief commercial officer of Cebu Pacific, also said that with the airline destined for full recovery and profitability this year, it is also preparing to meet passenger demand. The low-cost airline is expected to receive 10 new Airbus NEO planes: three A320neo, three A321neo and four A330neo.
With that, they are offering a special seat sale from 27th to 31st January 2023 for a base fare as low as P499 for international destinations. Select domestic destinations will also be available during this sale. The travel period is from June 1 to November 30, 2023.
Travel has slowly returned over the past year. Destinations have reopened and governments have eased travel restrictions, allowing us travelers to explore new places or revisit our favorite attractions. This year, as we plan more holiday trips, family vacations and barkade getaways, Cebu Pacific is also excited about Fly Every Juan as they offer more affordable rates.
